RCSS expresses its condolences to the people affected by the earthquake and will provide assistance to the best of its ability

On 28 March 2025, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake, with its epicenter in Sagaing region, heavily impacted Sagaing, Mandalay Region, southern Shan State, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, Pago Region and other several regions. The RCSS expresses sympathy to those who have lost loved ones or suffered injuries due to the severe damage caused to monasteries, pagodas, houses, roads, and bridges.

To assist the earthquake victims, the Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) will collaborate with all concerned organizations and provide support to the best of its ability.
