When asked about the news of Uranium trading under the headline of the American judicial indictment that has been reported in the online media these days, Chairman of Restoration Council of the Shan State, Sao Yawd Serk, said that a few years ago, a foreigner used to say that he wanted to buy uranium minerals heard to be available in Shan State. However, he said that he had never heard of any place where uranium was produced. He simply replied that he would have to learn more about it because he didn’t even know about uranium. He has never discussed any transaction with anyone. He replied to Taifreedom that these allegations were just an act of discredit without any source, as he had previously been accused of being involved in the drug trade.
